Goat's Milk and Thyme Biscuits

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 C all Purpose flour
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 TBSP baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3 TBSP fresh thyme, picked off the steam.
  • 1/3 C shortening
  • 2/3 C goats milk
  • ½ C butter,melted

DIRECTIONS

1. preheat 450 degrees
 2. In food processor, add together flour,sugar,baking powder,salt,baking soda and thyme.
 3. Pulse in shortening.
 4. Add goats milk.
 5. Rollout, 1 inch thick, brush with butter. Fold in ½.
 6. Roll out again, and brush with butter. Repeat once more.
 7. Punch out with circle cutter and bake for 10-12 mins.
